All documents
indicated on items b.1, b.2, b.3, b.4 must be
presented in its original form (legalized by the
Brazilian Consulate of the jurisdiction where
the document was issued) OR photocopies
authenticated by a Notary Public in the city
where they were issued and
legalized at the nearest Brazilian
Consulate. There is a consular fee of $20.00 for
the authentication of a notary public signature. |

Candidates must wait for at least one week before we can advise them whether the visa has been granted.

Visa fee: $ 70.00. There is an additional $
20.00 fee for a visa request not presented by
the applicant in person.
Payments must be in U.S. Postal money order made out to the
Consulate General of Brazil. Personal checks
and cash will not be accepted. |

In addition to the amounts indicated above,
a non-refundable processing fee of $ 150.00
will be charged to all US passport holders in reciprocity for an identical fee paid by Brazilian citizens who apply for a visa to the USA. Payment must be in U.S. Postal money order made out to the
Consulate General of Brazil. Personal checks
and cash will not be accepted. |

The International Immunization Certificate
against yellow fever will only be required from
international travelers coming from
countries which pose a risk of international
dissemination. Currently there are no countries
posing such risk. (Please see FAQ 1402 at
www.anvisa.gov.br).
Nevertheless, yellow fever vaccination is
recommended if applicant intends to visit one of
the following regions in Brazil: Acre, Amapá,
Amazonas, Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão,
Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia,
Roraima, Tocantins. |
