A. TRANSCRIPT
 

Transcripts must be authenticated with the seal of the school or by the signature of its certifying officer.

B. DIPLOMA
 

We can legalize the original diploma, OR a Xerox copy, if it is authenticated with the seal of the school, OR the following text on the school's letterhead stationary:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

This is to certify that the accompanying diploma is an authentic one (or authentic copy) and was granted to (name of the student) on (date) after completion of all requirements for a degree of (name of degree).

(School's seal) (city and date)

(signature of the officer)

C. STATEMENTS
 

We can legalize statements about activities sponsored by schools as well as statements about curse curricula.  The text MUST BE written on the school's letterhead stationary.

NOTES
1.

There is no need to notarize a school document or to validate the signature of the State Secretary before bringing it to be legalized by the Consulate General of Brazil.

2.

There is a consular fee of $ 5.00 per document. Please note that if the document was notarized or the signature of the State Secretary was validated before its legalization by this Consulate, the consular fee will be $ 20.00 per document. Please send cash or a US Postal money order payable to the Consulate General of Brazil. The Consulate accepts only cash or US Postal money orders.

3.

Legalizations may be processed by mail only when a self-addressed, stamped USPS (United States Postal Service) envelope is provided. Please note that returning envelopes belonging to other couriers (FEDEX, DHL, UPS, among others) will NOT be accepted.

4.

The Consulate General cannot send the documents directly to Brazil. They will be returned to the US address from which they came.

5.

The Brazilian Consulate General in San Francisco has jurisdiction over the states of Oregon, Washington, Alaska and in California over the following counties: Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Inyo, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Ladera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Mono, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Benedito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislau, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yolo, Yuma.
