VISA FEES FOR U.S. CITIZENS
Following the international principle of reciprocity,
effective January 1st, 2008, the reciprocity fee for
U.S.
citizens applying for a Brazilian visa will increase
from $100 to $130.
NOTICE
Effective January 1st, 2008, the
Consulate-General will no longer accept delivery of
envelopes transported by courier services such as
Federal Express, UPS, DHL and others. The Consulate
General will only accept delivery of envelopes
transported by the United States Postal Service (Post
Office).
The same rule applies to envelopes for returning
documents: only pre-paid U.S. Postal Service envelopes
will be accepted for returning documents.
AVISO
A partir de 1°
de janeiro de 2008, não serão mais recebidos envelopes
de empresas “courier”, tais como Federal Express,
UPS, DHL e outras. O Consulado-Geral
aceitará receber somente envelopes transportados pelos
correios (United States Postal Service ou Post
Office).
A mesma regra se aplica a envelopes para o retorno de
documentos: somente envelopes pré-pagos dos correios (U.S.
Postal Service ou Post Office) serão aceitos
para devolução de documentos.
